Subscriber/User Agreement


Please read this Agreement BEFORE submitting your registration to Clergy Tax Net.

This Agreement governs the terms of your use of Clergy Tax Net as a subscriber ("Subscriber".) Please read this entire Agreement before proceeding with the registration process.

You indicate your acceptance of the terms of this Agreement by submitting your registration and/or by continuing to use the Clergy Tax Net web site. If you do not wish to accept the terms of this Agreement, please click on the "Home" or "Back" button of your browser now and the registration process will terminate.

1. Notice and Disclaimers
The notice and disclaimers for all subscribers of Clergy Tax Net are part of this Agreement.

2. Usage Guidelines
Clergy Tax Net is intended to be a research resource for religious professionals. The guidelines below are designed to help us achieve that goal. As a Subscriber, you agree to comply with these guidelines. You also agree that we can terminate your Subscriber account upon notice to you if we learn that you have violated one or more of these guidelines.

  • a. You may NOT submit or upload statements, data, or materials to Clergy Tax Net that (i) are harassing, threatening, obscene, defamatory, racially or sexually offensive, invasive of others' privacy, or otherwise unlawful, (ii) contain viruses or other harmful computer code or data, or (iii) in our judgment have the effect of disrupting others' use of Clergy Tax Net. "Unlawful" as used here means, without limitation, violation of any criminal laws and the unauthorized use of proprietary materials owned by others, such as text and audio-visual material protected by copyright, trademarks and logos, and commercial uses of the name or likeness of persons living or dead.
  • b. You may NOT use Clergy Tax Net to advertise any product or service without our prior written consent.
  • c. You may NOT share, lend, sell or transfer to anyone else your Subscriber password or your rights under this Agreement. You agree to keep such password secure and confidential and not to disclose it to other people. If you lose your password or if it is stolen, you will notify Clergy Tax Net immediately.
  • d. You agree to use this site for your internal use only. You may NOT copy, distribute, transmit, display or otherwise use this site or any portion of it for any other purpose without our prior written consent.
  • e. You will comply with any other additional guidelines that we may post for Clergy Tax Net from time to time.

3. Fees
Unless you have been granted a temporary trial subscription, your subscription to Clergy Tax Net requires payment of a annual fee.

Annual Plan Subscribers shall be charged the full annual fee upon registration. If you cancel the subscriptions within 48 hours of the one-year subscription term shall be entitled to a full refund; thereafter, no refunds shall be available upon cancellation to these Subscribers. Notification of cancellation must be made in writing or by e-mail to the addresses noted above.

If Clergy Tax Net should discontinue service, all Subscribers who are bona fide subscribers in good standing at the time of such discontinuation shall be entitled, upon written request, to a refund of a pro rated portion of their subscription fee representing the unused portion of their subscription term.

4. Miscellaneous

  • a. In no event shall our maximum liability to you for any claim, loss, injury or expense of any kind under any theory of liability, whether in tort, contract, or otherwise, exceed the refund of any Subscriber fees we received from you subsequent to the date of any act or omission on our part that allegedly gave rise to such claim, loss, injury or expense. In addition, we shall have no liability to you whatever for any consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages of any kind for any claim arising under or related to this Agreement.
  • b. This Agreement, and any additional terms we may add from time to time upon notice to you, shall constitute the entire agreement between us regarding the subject matter of this Agreement and may not be modified by you without our prior written agreement.
  • c. This Agreement and any disputes arising under or in connection with it shall be governed by the law of Minnesota without regard to its choice of law principles.

I acknowledge that access to and use of Clergy Tax Net is conditioned upon my acceptance of all of the terms and conditions of the above Subscriber Agreement.
