Step 1

Be prepared to discuss your plans and objectives. We can most effectively advise you and serve your best interests when we understand your goals.

Our goals and objectives are to teach some basic principles and techniques to provide technical guidance; to determine the eligible tax deductions and benefits that you are not utilizing at this time and to help reduce and minimize your tax liability.

Step 2

Gather all relevant personal, ministry and business financial information so you can give us a clear picture and ask specific questions.

Take a moment to review your tax documents and correct discrepancies before you start preparing your return. If there is a mistake, getting a corrected W-2 or 1099 form can take time, so don't wait until you are down to the wire.

Compile all your tax records and receipts and complete the organizer. We suggest you review the entire organizer and answer all the questions that apply to you. Your return will be prepared primarily from this data.

Step 3

Be clear and candid about what you expect from our services. If for any reason you are not satisfied with our service, we will provide a refund. We pledge to provide excellent products and services or your money back.

Step 4

To save yourself unnecessary fees, keep good records and avoid using professional time for routine recordkeeping.

You should keep adequate records that prove your expenses or have sufficient evidence that will support your own statement. Written evidence has considerably more value than oral evidence alone, and you must generally prepare a written record for it to be considered adequate. However, if you prepare a record in a computer memory device with the aid of a logging program, it is considered an adequate record.

You should keep the proof you need in an account book, diary, statement of expense, or similar record, and keep documentary evidence (such as receipts, canceled checks, or bills) that together will support each element of an expense. A receipt is ordinarily the best evidence to prove the amount of an expense.

Step 5

Keep us informed of changes in your personal, professional and ministry life. A marriage or divorce, the birth of a child, an inheritance, a career change or a generous bonus can have a significant impact on your tax liability and financial goals.
